It’s nearly March and New York Fashion Week has flown by, with London Fashion Week kicking off today. Sabato de Sarno has been fired from Gucci and Skims and Nike announced their upcoming collaboration. Lots of exciting fashion news which, rest assured, will have its own dedicated post very shortly.
But, with small signs that spring is (perhaps) on its way, I thought it would be appropriate to share 4 styling edits, featuring some pieces I am currently lusting over. I know there has been a bit of debate about “sheer” as a trend and in the words of Emma Chamberlain: “trendy or timeless?”. The age-old question we are all trying to navigate. Sheer pieces obviously have their time and place, and perhaps the depths of winter in London on a Monday morning is not the time to be exhibiting The Frankie Shop’s sheer midi skirt. However, I do believe that in a couple of weeks, the time will come to dig out our spring clothes and retire our puffer jackets and beanies. Which, can we all agree on, have had their day…I am officially fed up with the cold blasts and SICK TO DEATH of always having to leave the house in a beanie, mittens and five layers.
Alas, I am coming to your rescue and sharing some fashion inspiration which we all need to get us in the mood for spring dressing.
There are some beautiful pieces in these four edits. My favourites include the silver ballerinas, blue suede jacket and the Bottega bag which I would love for my birthday (hint hint mother…).
Let me know if you like this way of product edits. I wanted to try out a more creative and visual way so if you love, slide in my DMs or comment and share. Ciao for now xx
